Play Class for Little Ones: birth to 18 months
Play Class can be reserved as a one time experience, or as a standing appointment.
Weekday and weekend times are available.
Play Class is an option for little ones to move and explore in a calm, safe, spacious play area.
The format of Play Class is deeply rooted and inspired by RIE, Waldorf, and the book Balanced and Barefoot.
Clean, matted crawling space allows little one to have tummy time, practice crawling, pulling up, cruising, and reaching skills.
The play environment also offers little one, and all, a light and simple seasonal experience, which is a peek into our program's New Moon lesson curriculum.
Playthings are made of natural materials that are thoughtfully chosen for the developmental stage of the little ones. The play things are simple, open ended objects that often inspire playfulness in the grown ups too!
Simple, soft, slow singing of traditional nursery songs is a part of of every Play Class.
If preferred, Play Class can be curated in our outdoor spaces, for several of the developmental phases that occur birth to 18 months.
A self feeding time can be included, with home prepared, organic vegetarian foods, and cup time! Enthusiastic parents and teacher facilitate the sampling experience. Special dietary accommodations are gladly made, with advance notice.
